Do you consider yourselves evil?

I agree with ^ Evil is probably the not word you mean to use. It's defined as being "profoundly immoral and malevolent" (Wiki) In other word, someone is evil if and only if they are bad all the time, and have a constant tendency to do wicked deeds. So big NO, I'm definitely not evil. But if you were to claim I'm naughty or sinful, then yeh.

To me evil is taking away something that is innocent, violently by force or manipulation. Murder, rape, harm to others. Things involving kids, animals, etc. If you fit the above description then yes I would consider you evil. If not, then no, you are not. Maybe fucked up. Maybe rolling with some mental issues, but not evil. If you kill a person in self defense, I do not consider this an evil act. If you seek retribution for a wrong, this can be a gray area but I don't think it is inherently evil.

Well Siru, if you want to bring logics into the mix, if you think about how much more harm one would do over the other. A single person is far more devastating to the world than a single animal. Herds and overpopulation of any given species can cause disharmony in any given environment but think of all the things a human has the potential to do in relation to that of the animal. Now if the choice is a person vs a rabid dog... well that changes things, no?

it depends on the animal. im not going to probably care if its a squirrel if its a pet that you love though
