What Is Your Dere?

Introduce yourself! If you feel you are a certain type of dere, or have tendencies of one type, say so here! As an added bonus, if you would like, you can also what type of dere you might be into romantically. Who knows you may make new friends (or more) through this thread... So don't be shy, read this and reply! I say take note of what I said, and enjoy this thread!

I will start things off. I am totally a dandere. So I won't have much to say to certain people. I may or may not enjoy their company but unless we have some common ground I will have short answers. Not to be terse or rude, but because I honestly can't contribute much and wouldn't really know how to transition or ask follow up questions... But when I meet someone who shares my interests from anime and manga series, to Nintendo video games, to sports, to cartoons from the 20th Century and 2000s decade, to food... I will have much enthusiasm and interest. I can't get enough of such people. So I can be as quiet Yuki Nagato or as excited as Haruhi Suzumiya! As for a dere I might like... Well I am kinda flexible. If we like each other we won't have to fit neatly into labels but... Kuudere and fellow dandere are nice... Genki is not a dere but I would lover one... Only other deres I know are tsundere (not bad) and yandere (I don't want someone to threaten my friends or not trust me). If there really others, let me know! Okay this post is way too long, you don't have to make yours this long, but if you do, hey go for it! Shows you are that passionate! XD

im a yandere/dandere basically a yandere like yuno gasai only i dont kill people but i pretty much get jealous just like her, and i feel like the person im with belongs to me and i dont intend to share her. im dandere also cause im normally shy and nervous around new people but when im used to that person i start to act like my usual self

I'll join this one~ I'm definitely somewhat both Dandere and Kuudere. I'm extremely shy and quiet most of the time. Outside the internet I speak very little to anyone who isn't already my friend. It's a little easier on here though~ Once I get to know someone better I open up a lot more~ As for romantically, well I'm not really picky on something like that as long as we get along~although a cute dandere might be nice since we'll both be shy as hell~

Hmmm~ I think I is a mix of Deredere and yandere ^u^ I is nice to almost everyone and I could never murder somebody~ but if someone tried to hit on my girlfriend or wife they might find themselves tripping onto the concrete unexpectedly >u< but if someone ever hurt my girlfriend or wife, murder becomes fair game~ ^u^ and the more pain the person inflicted, the slower and more creatively they die >u<

Pretty much Kuudere. The best way to describe me as a person is Shirou. I was like shirou when i was younger, and my personality has been getting more cold, and calm as i get older.(archer) The types i was into when i was younger was more of the dandere types, the shy, and quiet ones. Now i am into more of tsundere types. However, i don't limit myself to this, and there are some woman that i am atttracted to for some reason, or another that aren't this type. The most important thing to me out of all of it is they have to be intelligent, or i won't bother.

How can you be two types of 'dere'? That legitimately defeats the purpose of categorizing yourself, because literally every person is a mix of all the deres. People who could actually be yanderes are psychopaths and need to be put in mental health facilities. but LOL xD XD haha so random

Wow, so much attention this thread has gotten... Seabears, I can understand and totally respect that. Not many people I know want to share their significant other! There are those who are into the open relationships, I can't really understand that... To me, it encourages straying XD Cursedrena, you sound like my long lost twin XD! Okamikwan21, you also make a good point. Protecting your loved one is something I can appreciate for sure. Spencer, who is the Shirou you mention, I am unfamiliar with whatever series that person is from... Ginseng, everyone is free to feel what they feel. Whether they are one dere or two or three! Also some people might change and evolve their dere over time! Hey, Charizard is not just a Fire type, or a Flying type. It's both a fire and flying type of Pokemon. You are also free to feel as you do, I don't know where you live but I live in USA where we have freedom of speech so yeah... Mariahase, that is a new dere I am unfamiliar with... Esdeathdere... Act Mikasa around someone, do you mean cool and collected Ackerman who is a badass or the caring & concerned childhood friend of Eren and Armin? Define extremely crazy, there are so many ways one can be crazy. Crazy bloodlust, crazy reckless, crazy lover of battle, crazy jealous lover, etc. Queen Fancy, I have a slight idea, but can you please clarify "deredere?" Educate me!
