Ideal first date.

Hmmm.....I guess just hanging out somewhere nice while playing to games. We get to know each other and try to beat each other at the same time. Just an all out good time. And anything the other person would want to do as well.

Walking in a garden in Spring/Summer, holding hands, having them whisper things to me, backhug me, cup my face... Basically anything with a lot of skinship/touching. Anywhere is fine pretty much, though I think I want my FIRST date to be outside of the house, rather than the typical homebody date that I'm more inclined to do later on.

My ideal first date would be along the lines of something special for myself and the other person. If by the time of the date I have my pilot's license then I would do something special by hiring a helicopter at my nearby Airport (where I'm also planning on getting a job at once I have my license) and take my date on a tour of the neighborhood. Since I am also located near the sea then I would consider taking that person for a walk on the beach, stopping for lunch at a nearby cafe that I quite enjoy. (That said, the weather isn't always perfect.) However, I don't want my ideal date to be one that I can think of and plan. I know from past experience that I have a tendency to over-plan things. So to conclude; Surprise me.

I like MidnightLore's idea. Go somewhere fun, like mini golfing, a garden, arcade or something simple like a park. Get to know each other in person, talk, grab a bite to eat, and see where it goes.

Stargazing. Somewhere away from civilization with a good bottle of Gin, some food and music. But only if I knew the person longer and trusted them. Not wanna be alone with some psycho out in the fields. I don't really do blind dates though.. so my first dates have always been with people I already knew well enough to know that they're not craycray.
