@Kid Too bad for her, because I don't really do skype. I mostly sit at the kitchen table with my laptop so I can still interact with the people here and I have terrible anxiety for talking over skype with (semi-)strangers I seem to be very popular when it comes to movie dates. You shouldn't do them as a first date, but they can be very nice indeed, especially when they are stay-at-home-movie-dates ~.^

@Sanfi But aren't you doing a FIRST date with her at the movies?

Yeah I'm not much on the idea of a movie date being the first date unless its in a more personal setting because it doesn't provide much room for getting to know each other during most of the actual date.

(not part of the game... The movie is to get you warmed up to the idea of being alone with the person. After the movie, you don't have to struggle with coming up with something to talk about, you just talk about the movie and that breaks the ice then you move on to other things. You go out and have coffee or something afterward. Movie dates are great and can be okay for first ones. You guys silly.)

@Kid I'm in the same class as her, so it doesn't matter. The first date is about getting to know each other, which will not happen during a movie, but since I'm in the same research project as her and have been out with her and a couple of our shared friends for a while, I'm pretty sure I know just a little bit about her. Therefore, a movie date is fine ^^

@Veru Lol, our answers could almost not be more opposite, but I agree with yours too, frankly ^^
