Ugh I fucking hate Christianity

yaasshat
Actually, the needle analogy is about the fact that you can't buy your way in and it does not imply that the rich can not enter. Just an FYI.

Yeah I know that's why I tried to clarify the rich part, is more directed towards everybody. Just that it was written because at the moment it was a story about a rich dude and stuff.

The problem is political correctness and feeling sympathy for others has practically become required of you. Cant say merry Christmas, no, happy holidays. Guy got shot for threatening cop, let's riot and destroy the fucking city. There's so much talk about peace and equality yet the we use violence to request peace and harmony. And with all the new classifications and labels being made like counterfeit bills, it's basically self segregation. This is not a general statement because its just a few bad ducks that define the majority of people Perhaps a better explanation is this season of south park. While the majority of its content is a poor representation of most real world situations, these episodes mirror what is the norm these days and the behaviors of said ducks. To finish this lovely little nonsense, religion doesn't start wars, your government isn't evil, U.S. debt is caused by war(seriously, we cant fucking police the bloody world), Jenner is not a hero, the cop is innocent, smoking is cool, pop punk is the century's biggest oxymoron, Lil B and The Weeknd tag teamed yo bitch, you're not a gangster because you sneaked out with mommy's .38, and garage rock is still the best form of rock.

I just believe in whatever system- political, religious, philosophical, and civil- that gives the most freedom to the individual. If I fuck up, it should because I fucked up and own up to it. I believe in God, but I respect everyone. Every belief should be allowed because no one belief is better than others individually. If the alternatives exist and we objectively see flaws in it, then wouldn't it make a "correct" system all the more valuable? I believe in the freedom of choice for everyone. Imposing your will on another is not cool. Some folks say all religions should disappear, but then you're no better than the religious fundamentalist. Rather, I think every religion should exist side by side, because a true devotee is not brainwashed or a puppet of some guy with a silly looking hat. People are people regardless and should be respected. The problem is society's lack of tolerance- perhaps certain systems enforce this more so than others, but still, people are people- both good and bad and in between

Do you ever post anything nice, or is that just not a thing?

True every belief should be allowed as no one person has hard proven evidence that their religion or belief is the right one, I think religion cause difficult when it stops people from working on ways to help each other work together. However some atheist can be imposing with the belief while also just like religion.

>Do you ever post anything nice, or is that just not a thing? Of course I do. Unfortunately I find way more wrong with the world than right - so until that changes, my disposition will likely remain the same. I used to be a nihilist - that was even worse, be glad you didn't know me at that point in my life.

I'm not really a fan of generalizing in entirety. I'm Catholic myself, and both my parents are quite conservative.. there are times where I'd like to argue a point or two about their thoughts, but no- I wouldn't hold hate just because of a few differences. Being exposed to the hospitality industry meant meeting several people and learning of their principles and beliefs. Listening to acquaintances coming from other religions, it's actually pretty nice to know that there's common ground in beliefs. A good number actually say that religions are just a label.. what with the similarities, we might as well be believing in one thing. I don't like how zealots preach and condemn right and wrong, either. Those guys tend to go overboard. The Bible can be interpreted in several ways. Some believe that it is cruel. Some believe it is kind. (I don't look at the laws on there in a literal sense. I once used the metaphorical meanings from some of the passages to argue in favor of same-sex marriage for public debate. The Bible is not a solid basis for such, but opposing parties tend to bring that up, so why not blow the Holies back at them?)
