I don't think you understand I know nothing about the people here, nothing. I don't understand how you can pick a person to rhetorically date without knowing a thing about them, unless your going off of looks. But to satisfy you I'll say I'd go on a date with miarin.

If you don't know anybody, fine, but then why waste your time posting in the thread then? Kind of illogical, if you ask me.

Simply because of anxieties and fears of people not liking them in such a way. I know if I were to say "Hey, who wants to date me?" And got no replies, it'd be upsetting to ones self-esteem, but on the flip side, youll also have the people claiming they'd date you just to make others feel good. Itd be tricky, honestly.

I mean like someone posting : "I want to date someone." And people replying: "Who? Me?" Or something like that for fun but I guess if you get no replies then that's bad luck lol.

This topic is basically asking people to confess their feelings for other users, so it's only natural people would not want to drop any names. Even if it is rhetorical people are gonna see their name get mentioned and realize so and so at least likes them enough to consider dating. That might be all well and good for someone who has a crush on someone else and doesn't mind getting it out there for all to see, but sometimes people wanna keep their options open and publicity announcing they like X might hurt their chances with Y or Z.

Actually it is. Every life choice you make conflicts. Every choice is swayed by others debates on topics. Your feelings on, for instance, the GLBT, came from what you know from both sides of the debate. From there, you have an internal debate on how you feel on it. Long story short, yes, life is a debate.
