Twinkle in the sky (Poem)

Just a poem I made being bored. Comments welcome. *Clears throat* I long to be her friend, she has sadness in her heart It beats but doesn't speak; The beast in beauty's spark I heard her hum a tune, she stopped and said hello, then off into a forest, to greet her deepest woes. I followed to find her there, her hands against a tree, her lips against it's bark, How I wished that it were me! She turned and said hello, and I mumbled in return "I too can see a God, in temples I don't know." She placed her hand in mine, then I stood and asked to know why it rains in spring, why in winter it must snow. We sat upon a log, and stared into the sky, the moon began to mock us, the stars commenced their cry. She said she was an angel, that she must leave and say goodbye, and up she went to moan with them, She's that twinkle in the sky! Too corny? just right? Should I mix some words around ?

man, I read that and it made me flashback to a dream a I had years ago. There was this girl that came to me and I was in love with her, and in the end she said the EXACT same thing, she must leave and had to say goodbye. I saw light from her back as she walked away that looked like angel wings. Where did you get the inspiration for this story?

Inspiration? Not sure if I can call it that.. I'm rarely inspired by anything but I thought a little about a girl I have a crush on.. also the vague fleetingness of life and relationships. And that's neat; was the girl someone you actually know or just that sweet lady lucky guys dream about every now and then? Reminds me of this one time, may have been the alchohol, but the last time I saw my ex she left like Cinderalla; forget her shoes and everything, had to go home before midnight or her dad would freak out; might have been the prettiest time I've seen her. Never saw her again.
