Okay, so balancing being healthy and being otaku can sometimes be hard since watching anime promotes sitting down and snacking during its duration ><. What do you guys do before, after, or during to offset that?

Usually what I do before watching anime is go to walk a bit at the track, after I watch the episodes I was looking for that day I go to Jiujitsu, but a friend of mine go to walk a bit more after watching anime, so what you could do also is just do an activity that you enjoy and will make you get up, hope this helped a bit.

Anime is a reward, not a hobby,for me. As soon as academics, diet, and exercise is out of the way, I can relax and immerse myself into my "fantasy world", as my family calls it. -_-"

Now that summer is here, I'm a little more active, especially since my two best friends (who don't really like anime) like to get out a lot. Just went kayaking with them today and managed to get some color as well as start to get back into shape.
Oh, and if I can get the money to fix my bike, I will be doing some biking too!

I go off a 4 day cycle personally.
Day 1: Work 8 hrs, Chest/Tri's/Abs 1.25 hrs, Distance Cardio 30 mins, Anime 2 hrs
Day 2: Work 8 hrs, Back/Bi's/Abs 1.25 hrs, Interval Cardio 30 mins, Anime 2 hrs
Day 3: Work 8 hrs, Shoulders/Legs/Abs 1.25 hrs, Bike Cardio (WHILE WATCHING ANIME xD) 30 mins, Anime 2 hrs
Day 4: Work 8 hrs, Anime however long I want till sleep

Believe it or not i used to spend a lot of time watching animes and reading manga comics. Back in the days when Anime/manga are my personal obsessions. It was something like some kind of happiness that i wouldn't get from the outside world. It wasn't balanced at all. Most of my free time i put upon watching animes. Finished all nearly 500 episodes of One piece for nearly 2 1/2 months. It was even worse when its weekends. But now, i barely even watch anime, i pretty much focus in real life activities and do more fun stuffs. I work out whenever i have free time. Lurk around the net or just read books. I wanted to bring back my passion towards animes/manga but not like how i used to. I wanted to equalize everything up and not be obsessed again.

push ups and sit ups in the morning and maybe lifting the weights and now that I have my bike up and running again I'll be hopping on that every once in a while. My diet could be better but I eat as healthy as I can living with my family and trying to just live day to day some days are better then others but I feel if I stay active I'll be good.
