Manglobe Studio Bankruptcy

The Japanese animation studio Manglobe has recently filed for bankruptcy. I heard about this...the anime season sales didnt do too well this summer season. i think the most copies sold was like 7,000. This is how fragile a company is on this particular industry. They are very dependent on their consumers who actually buys their products.

Yep. Worst thing is alot of the animators for Manglobe, even those at the director level, were only making enough to live paycheck to paycheck. RIP.

Interesting information, Panda. The sales of Gangsta wasn't too great, yeah. Hopefully most of the Manglobe staff can get employment somewhere else. Animation is indeed a tough industry.

Yeah that would suck if they weren't able to find a job after being laid off. I mean some of these guys might have been in their dream job and if they cant find a job in the field anymore that would be a shame
