Looking for my Mr. right

animeangel09189
I'm single and looking I was told by a friend that I'm the " ultimate girlfriend every nerd wants" If that were so then how come I'm still single and the guy of my dreams hasn't found me yet hmmm? You can see more about me here: http://pinterest.com/fireflyghost/ And here: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/2840977-kate I believe you can tell a lot about people by the books they read

Very true, about the books. :) As far as Mr. Right, you'll find him, or he will find you. I know its sappy, but got have hope, cause if not, well things can get right darn depressing. :) Believe me, I still have hope, and I can pretty much guarantee I've been single longer than most anyone here. :) Then again, I'm terrible at reading signs, so I have probably missed a few. Its why I have told women friends of mine, if they knew anyone interested, it would be best if they just clubbed me over the head, cause I am so cautious of reading signs wrong I tend to not. :) Finn

I've learned a lot about stuff like this the hard way. Excluding my last ex (since we're on good terms), I've been in a slump for well over a year. Sounds like you deserve a good guy. Sadly, I'm not quite him since I drink occasionally and I have a bit of a mouth. Aside from those minor flaws, I'm a stereotypical nerd just trying to get by.

True love can virtually be anywhere. It will show up when you least expect it. But it isn't an option to just sit around waiting and hoping it will show up. You have to get out there and meet people. Go to the places singles tend to gather and make some friends. You have a lot of options as to where to go. Since we have all the same interests here, Anime Conventions would be a great place to socialize and find other like-minded people.

I'm actually thinking about that since I am going to a convention this september Roccon http://rochesterscifianimecon.com/ I'm super excited about it too sounds like a fangirl's dream convention

Hmm, might need to take a look at that Con, I think Rochester is around 4 to 5 hrs from me. I have DragonCon beginning of September, so this is end, so should work out nice, will keep an eye on it. But yes, Cons are always a good place to meet folks that enjoy the same thing as you, and well feel comfortable being around people who enjoy it also.
