Do you have anywhere in particular you want to move to? Are you aware of the countries laws about living there? Do you know how much it will cost? Employment? How much it costs to fly back to visit? I suggest you visit the area you want to move to first and see if you can picture yourself living there. Good luck. :)

I have had some experience living in different countries, I remember the first time when I moved away from the UK to China for a year, was scary at first but I developed / changed a lot as a person. My advice Research! Research! Research! - Learn as much as possible about the place where you are thinking of moving to. Learn about the: laws, language, health service, embassy locations, visa, accommodation, employment, vaccinations, cost of living. Have a safety net. In this case it usually means money, have a emergency account with enough money in to pay for accommodation and flights. I usually keep £1000 in a separate bank account that I never touch. It is in case I need to get back to the UK fast or secure new accommodation due to unexpected circumstances. Also having comprehensive insurance is important in case you need to get medical treatment. Also most insurance companies will provide you with a 24/7 emergency number. Have a plan for what to do if it all goes wrong. It is reassuring to prepare for the worst things and if they happen then you are as ready as you can be. And finally a well known quote "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did so. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Do it!

It would also probably help if you had someone, such as a friend or family member, to help you introduce you to important places in the area you move to - landmarks, post office, library, etc. Just having someone to show you stuff will reduce the initial stress of a new environment.
