When I turned 18 it wasn't that different from when I was 17. I was still in high school. blame my birth month

Feels normal. Aside from the fact that I can buy smokes if I go a state over.

Pretty rad. I got my certificates and A-levels on my 18th birthday and moved to a big city a few days later and started applying for university there straight away. So in my case it was a drastic change. Oh and of course I could now get legally wasted from the high% stuff and that was exhausted very enthusiastically the first few months after turning 18.. But that shit got old surprisingly fast. Looking back if not for the moving-out-part.. There wasn't much of a felt difference. Happy birthday either way. :)

It isn't much of a difference... I already moved from my father's house, currently attending college, couldn't care less about getting drunk since most underage kids do and laws are not respected anyways. The only new thing going for me is being able to renovate my documents without the help of my parents (I had trouble with the passport just because my parents are not together so... I really want to travel lol). Happy birthday though!

Wasn't any different for me either. I was still in high school, looking for a part time job, and planning for college after the summer. Still ran around with my friends, watched what little anime there was at the time. Come to think of it, the only real difference was being able to attend 18+ events.

Let's see, when I was 17 I went to an online school and graduated about 4 months before my 18th birthday. On my birthday I started working at the factory I am currently at (will be 21 in 6 months). From that point I bought a house about 3 months after I turned 18 and began living on my own. Started going to college when I was 20 because the real world is very tough and I am hoping to make more money/not do physical work (I'm rather lazy) by getting a degree in accounting. So to sum it up being 18 sucks, but at the same time it isn't bad. There is much more freedom now, I can do whatever I want as long as I don't get arrested. With all that said, happy birthday and enjoy your new life as an adult :D
