I think it's better stated as, "chemistry and other sciences." Chemistry is a science because it applies the scientific method. As it applies the scientific method it is not separated with an, "and" from other sciences. You can separate math and science. As math is separated from the scientific method via mathematically proofs that are not probabilistic in nature, but rather absolute.

I also love chemistry, especially organic chemistry, so I became a researcher. I am currently working at one of the research institutes in Prague. My currently researching topic is organometalloic chemistry which related to photochemistry and quantum chemistry.
