I like giving head pats. Pat pat. Its like a way of acknowledging someone. And being able to share in physical contact that doesn't cross boundaries. Even if all pats aren't created equal RESPECT THE PAT!!!!!! Pat pat.

I seriously hate being pat on the head. For me personally, I feel like I'm being treated like someone's pet or child so I consider it a pretty degrading gesture. But fun fact, a lot of asian cultures consider head patting to be taboo either for traditional or religious reasons. It could actually seriously get you into trouble with some people

Damn, I think I'm the minority in this one. I didn't think it was this off putting to this many people haha. I would usually give head pats to closer-than-usual aquaintences specifically if they're feeling down or anxious about something.
