So I almost died today

Do you ever have one of those moments where you have an extremely close brush with death? I had one of those today. I was in the car just about to pull out into the main road when the turn light went green. As I started to turn, at the last second I noticed out of the corner of my eye a metro bus was barreling straight for me. I swerved and slammed on the brakes and the bus wheezed by, barely missing me. It blew right through the red light. The driver must have realized this and pulled over to the side of the road, most likely shaken over nearly killing me. If I hadn't been very alert, that would have been the end of me. Actually, none of that happened. I was surprised about how apathetic I was about the whole matter. My heart rate wasn't even elevated. Man, I think something is off about the 'fear' part of my brain. I guess I'm just not afraid of dying, haha Crap, I guess I used up one of my 9 lives!

I think that's just a mindset you get into when you don't have anyone depending on you financially or emotionally, #8. Now it's time to get into extreme sports. No fear - eye of the tiger! dude ok i was crossing the street right and like this lady was just about to turn i was like yeah its fine she is all the way down there i got this all of the sudden she turns and like speeds up nearly knocking me over the first thing i did was hop back on the side walk and looked at her she didnt even stop

Oh man, I hate when that happens. I was once honked at by an annoying Hummer driver with his air horn for crossing the street when the walking sign was up and he wanted to turn. Some people just don't deserve the right to drive.
