Facebook like website for otakus?

Mhhh,how many people are on there? I used to visit hongfire a lot, but i haven't been there in ages. It has a section that's focused more "mature animated" content. Some people openly claim they are lolicon's there, don't know if you want to deal with that.

^ i'd believe that but no, hongfire had different sub-forums for different interests and the mods were pretty active, so if you didnt go to the adult section, you wouldn't run into any adult stuff. The average age there is I guess 17-27 y old with some people being up to 45, married with kids.
