@momoichi I have to agree to that. Brotherhood Bradley was way too unhinged and impulsive. I preferred the OG Bradley where he was calm, cool and calculated.

the plot was unneededly complicated, there were too many character i gave no shit about and my biggest gripe were the changes to the homonculus sloth being their mother was so fucking sad and impactful, and wrath (WHO HAD EDS ARM AND LEG, THAT WAS SO KOOL) being their masters child and the relationship he had with sloth was way better then wrath and sloth in brotherhood not even mentioning they fuck up the tucker scene!!!!!! the og tucker episode won an award ffs https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e9/7e/26/e97e2609cb1a608a970c01c1ebee1a4e.gif

i saw the first few episodes of og fma when really really drunk one time and didn't like it, but i've seen brotherhood twice now and i really enjoyed it both times. i have a decent to-watch list as is, should i really go back and watch the og? also omg i thought the first page of this thread was the newest and saw someone say "bleach filler killed the anime".....even tho that was 5 years ago, i think it still needs to be asked: are there people who DON'T think that??? the bount saga...did they watch it?

dude the og was so fucking good, way more comprehensive then brotherhood i like to think its the story the mangaka REALLY wanted to tell, unbogged down by extra characters with the forethought to make better homunculus

I think that Brotherhood is easier to digest. It has a more "anime" formula similar to that of other anime. The OG was more willing to break the mold. Can't exactly say how without spoiling it. I will say there was a time where I like Brotherhood more, but then I finished it.

it will be considered then! i was really hooked on the vidya i was playing up until recently so i have a backlog of shit I normally would have cleared by now so maybe in a week or so ill peep it. still have to watch new(ish) seven deadly sins, baki, and alicization but ill put it thereabouts in the queue. ty yall!
