What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

^ That's the anime that got me back into the groove of watching anime again. Wow. Afterwards I was like I have to find others like this! 6 years later still love anime and more than ever. Nice 1st choice.

I actually started with manga and I used to read more manga than watching anime. The first manga I read was detective conan so that was the starting point for me to being an otaku. Thinking back it was 16 years ago. Lol.

I think the first one I saw was Yugioh on 4Kids, but it was Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Ranma 1/2 that first got me into anime :3 http://s7.postimg.org/lyivee9yz/giphy.gif

I watched shows like Pokemon and YuGiOh as a kid but it wasn't until I randomly clicked on an anime on Netflix (I think it was either Fruits Basket or High School of the Dead) that I became interested in anime.

(Hi! Chou-chan here!) Since some of the family were anime fans, I was disposed as a kid to Cardcaptor Sakura and Mermaid Melody.

Well, technically it was a manga that I read first, that then got me into anime in general. It was Jing: King of Bandits. I couldn't find the anime of the series at the time, but the first anime I've ever seen was Mobile Suit Gundam Wing on Adult Swim. HOOKED INSTANTLY!

Herro, my first anime would of been digmon along with the other shows that where shown at the time like zoids and pokemon etc. But it wasn't till a friend show me soul eater and hellsing and started to till more about this thing called anime I was 13 so ever since then I started to watch never ending amount anime. But the first anime I would of watch with me knowing it was anime would of been code geass. Code geass will always hold a special place on my collection of DVDs.
