What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

Hello!I'm Autumn,24 I'm from Tennessee the anime that turned me otaku well should I say animes. Was Bleach and Death Note back in 2007/2008 they were just the first series i just really got into though when I first started out I had Inuyasha but Bleach's supernatural themes are what really hooked up.And DN at the time was one of the darkest series I watched

I first got majorly hooked on anime in middle school when I decided to figure out "what ever happened to sailor moon?" and proceeded to binge watch it for several months on end before moving on to other mangas, movies, and series.

I grew up watching Pokemon and all that fun stuff ,but the first shows I was really obsessed with were Yu Yu Hakushow and Inuyasha when I was in middle school. At some point they moved both of those shows to the late night slot and I started staying up till 3am to watch anime on adult swim, which was pretty hardcore in middle school. I remember turning on the tv one night and seeing the scene from the first episode of Full Metal Alchemist where they're performing the transmutation and thinking HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS?!

My name is Mike, I'm 21 living in Canada, the first anime that got me hooked was To Love Ru when my friend showed it to me around late 2010. It's hilarious and the plot is rather interesting. I've watched countless different animes now that I've lost count. Today, To Love-Ru is still my favorite out of all the others in my collection.

The First Anime i ever watched was this one called.. Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure :D...it is a short anime like 12 episodes long.. but man i used to wake up at 5 am in the morning when i was a little kid just to turn on AXN and watch it :D ..i have so many nostalgic feelings associated with it :(

The first anime I watched was Kill La Kill. The only phrase that came to mind was, "MUST WATCH MORE". I learned the true meaning of sleep deprivation.
