"A stalker can be cute until they rock up to your address" uurrghhh, I'm feeling uncomfortable- I think I know what Acacia means, but I did made another experiences about it. Let us not talk about "Yanderes" and other dream girls/boys or something who is following someone on a platform - I want to talk about real happenings what was absolutely scary. I did experience a real stalker when I was moving in my first appartment (I was 17 years old). I was to be used by my mothers hood that we had always good connections to our neighbours, that you can visit them and vice versa, so I did the same way in my old place and made friends with my neighbours. One of them had a friend who was attached to me from the beginning - he was 40 years old and everything else than attractive to me in my honest opinion. He comes often across on the house floor when I came home, when I was doing errands like going to the grocery store... like a silly "coincidence" - "oh hey, how's going??". He didn't really care if I felt uncomfortable or not even I tried to bring the talks to an early end. He also lefts presents at my door - I didn't knew who it was before, until he got aggressive. One day, he crossed my way again at the floor and was really drunk. He wanted to invite me to a watch evening (I mean it was soccer), but I refused. Then he confessed to me that he wanted me at his girlfriend - even he already had a wife/girlfriend, the poor woman - and I should break up with my first boyfriend, because younger men wouldn't know what they want and he were the right person for me who could offer me a safe home. I felt extremely uncomfortable and refused again, so I went quickly back to my appartment and locked the door. He followed me and knocked hardly at my door "I know you are there.. hey... hey... HEY!" *knock knock knock* - I called my boyfriend that I feel scared because of that person, but the knocks gotten harder more and more that I thought he would break my door, so I decided to flee and break out through my balcony.. believe me, you give a fuck how far away the ground is when you are scared. After that, I ran to my bf's home - at the same time, my exboyfriend was driving to my old home, because I was suddenly fleeing and left the telephone. When I arrived my ex bf's home, his mother caught me up and tried to calm me down - that was the first time I drank a shot of Korn. She called my boyfriend and checked if he's doing okay, because it was been a while after he went on route. We told him that he must be careful because that guy was aggressive and drunken (and a big person where you cannot say if he can break your bones). He said "don't worry, the police is informed - everything will be okay.." and then we heard a discussion with another man (who was that guy) and I could just hear screams .. fortunately the police arrived and arrested that guy for a while. ...victim blaming wasn't unusual that time too, because the police just said I hadn't crossed his way. I'm very glad that changed over the years. Today, stalking is a crime in Germany (but not in that time it happened to me). These days I was too afraid to stay in my appartment - it took a long time that I could return into my home .. even later he stands on my windows side and screamed "cunt" and other words. I'm also glad that I moved from that place. You cannot choose your stalker - the stalker chooses you.

Also some people are just too socially awkward/shy to talk to people they are interested in in person...those people are harmless I guess..
