growvilye500
I for one prefer Dub but enjoy both but im tired of hearing people going dub sucks theyre emotionless etc etc so I decided to come here and ask you all what you think are they both equally good or is one better?

Both are great. I like watching the sub when it comes out. Plus there are a lot of anime that never get a dub, but there are a lot of great dubs and dubbing companies. Duding is great Then I don't have to look to know what there saying so I don't miss something important. So both are great.

Yeah i agree and some just sound a lot better in dub while some will also sound better in sub the reason i made this whole topic was cause my friend started going ew since im watching Magical Warfares dub xD

Depends. Sometimes dub is better; sometimes sub. Yu Yu Hakusho and FMA dubs were actually pretty good! Vampire Knight dub was horrendous - the voices sounded so... off and unfitting for the characters. Some people prefer sub because it's truer to the original, which is true. But I think dub makes the humor more accessible to us English speakers.

For me, it really depends on which voices are of superior quality. If they are of the same quality, then if its an ongoing anime, I stick with subs cause it comes out quicker. If its already complete though I'll pick dub just to avoid reading

I generally prefer subs because dub voice acting can be very wooden (not to say that Japanese voice acting is always perfect, just watch Elfen Lied). Also, the Japanese voices are what the creators want, it's their vision. There are only a select few anime I watch dubbed, that being Black Lagoon, Baccano and Cowboy bebop. I'll only watch a dub if the acting is either on par with the original or makes more sense in it's setting.

Both! it depends how the Sub and Dub is

Depending on the anime, either one could be better. I know I like and watch Death Note in dub, but an anime like Gintama is only GOOD as the sub, I watched the dubbed arc and it was horrible, they pulled so many punches in that... Another I like in the dub is Hataraku Maou-sama(The Devil is a Part-timer) But if you watched/love anime as me you tend to prefer subbed, since most anime never get dubbed, only a mere fraction, but still, both can be very good, but for watching a lot of anime, I'd go with sub because you get the original story and not a re-edited kind done to compensate for english insert where japanese words were...

I prefer dubs because i can remember scenes a little better.

^True, although for me even subs I can remember the whole, but with dub you can be lazy and just listen. (Unless you know japanese and watch the raw)
