Why do people hate gays?

Gender role is a good term to help describe how households managed when the World Wars began. Men went to war and the lack of those people in households encouraged women AND children to pick up the slack in the households. To use the term gender role now is pointless. I think if you don't cook, you fucking starve, whether or not you have a penis or vagina.

I don't know why people hate gay folk, but I do know all my favorite restaurants, stores, entertainment, and recreational centers have gay guys. You can't escape their well trimmed, well chiseled, attractive selves. Or their "gay accent". I know who is gay just by talking to them. And they physical mannerisms. In my opinion, gay rights don't take up a huge part of Americans thoughts, but most people support gay marriage. Oddly, as long as it isn't their loved ones who turn out gay. And of course most people feel neutral about gay people- neither accepting their lifestyle or condemning it. Me personally, I tried being gay, and I realized I was straight. I also thought I was transgender, but let's not talk about that dark time. But yes, let's leave gay people alone. But gay people, please stop making straight people uncomfortable with your enfeminisms. Well promise not to beat you up or out you. Unless your a celebrity. Then we care about it.

Ignorant of reality----I think the same could be said of this comment: lordragna37 Fine. On topic. Most people who "hate gays" don't. They disagree with their life choices (let's not get into if it's a choice or not) and they don't think it's right. That doesn't mean they hate the gays though. (oh no a plural noun! Whatever will the gays do!) (oh shit I did it again!!) Until the Pope came forward and said who is he to judge, that view wasn't even expressed very often.
