A white knight is someone who does something in defense of those who can't defend themselves or because standing up and defending them is the right and honest thing to do. I hate bullies, he was a bully mouthing off. I smashed his foot to shut him up. I am not a white knight. I am an asshole who got tired of listening to another asshole talking. I didn't do a good thing for a good reason, the girl was just part of why I did it. I might be a good person, but I am not a white knight.

The term White Knight gets used too loosely.

4th grade to 6th grade I was tortured and tormented by four girls. and from the age of 17 to 22 I was in an abusive relationship with a girl who had borderline personality disorder. So bullies and abuse tend to be a sore spot.

I'd just like to say that I think what Alistair did was really brave. I've been in similar situations before as a bystander, and I couldn't bring myself to do anything about it, whether it be verbally or physically. Even when the bullied person was one of my friends. So regardless of whether it was wrong to use violence or not, I think you're really brave. For doing something. Anything. Instead of just standing around.

Alistair - I do not think you are a WK. What you did leaves that impression however and may be a reason the woman scolded you. It's a good story none the less. It is good to call out socially unacceptable behavior in the public space when needed sometimes. I hate going to the gym because stupid people like those guys but the fitness snobs are the ones that really piss me off.

I don't really know what to say I don't like bulling too plus I cannot control my emotions like you do But I think I would just say something to them She probably will be a bitch anyway I don't think you were right to do so but you should it tell her it was an accident so she didn't feel bad about it And I'm really sorry to heard that I wish it gets better for you I never been in a relationship and I'll be scare to be in one like you did Don't worry I got bullying too when I was 14 and most were guys but there was girls too Next time just speak to them and if they don't listen I go straight to get me a fight (@0@)

*Sigh* Well life ain't an anime, where the girl would thank you. Reality is just that, no thanks for doing something good. Although knowing that I may have said instead "No, I didn't do it because of you, I did it because they annoyed me so much, and I knew how they would've acted." "I did it because I don't like seeing such scum in my presence, and if it indirectly helped you, well, that's just what you want, ne?" Lying isn't good, but it's not bad either. Sometimes to prevent ignorance is to become ignorant, because there are many people in this world that are either too full of themselves, don't know something good, or are just purely evil. I do what I can to help those around me, but if they slap my hand for no reason, not even a sign or hint as to why, or just being purely ignorant, I will stop trying, and will only help until they ask of it, if they say nothing, they can let their own selfish pride consume them, because I can't help someone who won't accept it... But not everyone is that way, I'm sure it's safe to say that most of us aren't the same as the "Rest" of the world, and I'll be there if you ever need help, just ask.

First thing I'm thinking: isn't it stupid of those guys to mock someone's weight while they are exercising in a gym? Frankly I think you did the right thing, maybe how you did it was kinda disproportionate, but maybe it was the first plan you could think of and acted quickly. And maybe you're not a white knight, but that doesn't mean people can't think you are one. She might have thought you were trying to score some point with her. Anyway, what's most important is what you think you did. You had your reasons for doing so and if it's enough for you to feel good then no worries.

Maybe she's the type who gets off on people badmouthing them and then you ruined it for her :x
