Any fellow motorcycle riders?

If so what got you into riding and what do you ride? :) For me I pretty much just knew I wanted one since I was little, seeing them around, they just seemed really cool to me. Seeing bikes in anime like Akira only pushed my interest further I suppose. My senior year of high school some really cool guy basically taught me everything I needed to know (I also watched tons of videos), next thing I knew I bought a ninja 250. At first I had some minor mishaps here and there as new rider... some really demotivated me at first, but I kept at it and sort of grew back into it. Eventually I caved and bought a ZX6R, and ever since I became more hooked than ever... a little bit of a speed junky I suppose (responsible rider on public roads though ;) ). Now that I have been riding for about seven years I just can't really see myself without one... feeling all the wind, the speed! er... anyway, fellow otaku motorcycle riders unite?!

I wish I was. My ex use to be a rider and I wanted to learn so badly. Since we broke up I never went back on. I still would like to learn.

Oh cool! @eand0802 I suggest the msf course: http://www.msf-usa.org/ Not only does it teach everything one needs to know, operating and safety wise, but they provide bikes to ride on for a day. When they think you're ready they give you something to take to the dmv and bam! You have a motorcycle endorsement on your license and you can get a discount on your insurance (which is pretty cheap on motorcycles already but still). @ashrum3 what do you want to get? :0
