Mostly for guys but girls can answer too. Would you date a MtF, either pre or post op? Actually a few you wouldn't know if they started transitioning early and were naturally very fem. Myself, it depends on the person and how fem they are and what my romantic feelings were. If I think of them as a girl then it doesn't really matter. I smell a trap!!! And personally ... no. Sorry only I can carry the sausage and post op ... sry but in my head surgery can't change your actual genetic structure. :/ Wouldn't mind befriending one though ... heck if gay bartenders can be some of the coolest dudes in the world, I cant say MtF's can't be cool either.

I have a friend who's one, and no matter how much they look like a girl, I still see them a male. I often hear the argument, that if you didn't know about the operation, you might fall in love regardless of sex. To this I say, "Love is based on trust", I could never forgive someone that'd hide something so important from me. That's without mentioning that I'd have fallen for the female persona I had of the person. Not the male one.

Crying Game, no. Post op, sure if they were up front about it, but I doubt anything long term what with wanting kids at some point.

Some people are very uncomfortable revealing gender issues openly or have reasons not to. So I can't really blame them. Maybe you fall for them regardless from just talking to them online. Though dealing with having feelings for someone that has a gender that is biologically different from what you are used to can be challenging. But even regardless of any gender issues, I can't really tell what my feelings are for someone from just online conversation. I really have to spend plenty of time getting to know them in person. This can also be challenging if the person with gender issues has severe trust issues and doesn't have much faith in people accepting them (for a relationship).

Some people are just naturally androgynous or even intersex so could pull off either genders.
