Rape isn't a concern, unless you want to ban gay and lesbian people from the restrooms too, because that's just as likely. As for child confusion it isn't an issue at all; they should be educated on this stuff anyway since trans is becoming more common/recognised, not to mention some children are now brought up with two mums or two dads - may as well explain it all early. As for your second question - pass, no idea - but I imagine men have the same rights as women as far as domestic abuse and rape are concerned, so it shouldn't be an issue?

Yes but I mean but I respect a gay person more than a trans just to out it out there. also why would you ban gays of restrooms? Come one man don't and women don't get the same treatment when it come to the law Just look at the sentences for the same assaults and you'll see the difference

Why do you respect a gay person more? I meant if your main concern is rape then it makes sense to ban a gay person from the rest room, because if a gay man went into the women's rest room there would be 100% no chance of rape by that man, because he likes men, however a gay man going into a male rest room raises the risk of rape significantly, because he likes men. I'm not saying gay men are rapists, it's just something to consider. As I said, I pass on that, no idea, I'm not a law buff ¬ ¬ But it 'should' be the same, even if it isn't.

Um...sort of? You said rape was a concern, right? So what's the difference between an MtF going into the women's restroom and a lesbian going into the women's restroom? Both are just as likely to rape a woman, aren't they?

I don't get how they're living a lie. Trans people truly honest to god believe they're in the wrong sex. For them, asking them to conform to the biological sex they have is asking them to live a lie. Similar to asking a gay person to maintain a heterosexual relationship. Which ironically many homophobic people also claim will increase the instances of rape and child confusion :p
