I'll never understand how someone can say "It's just a cartoon." and yet not get that it's not the cartoon people are offended by, but the concept. If you're getting off to this kind of stuff, it's not the cartoon that does it, but the idea of what's being portrayed, the fantasy. Sure, better than molesting kids, but dont you think it's just another outlet to encourage the fantasy? Meh... I suppose the same could and has been argued about with violent video games. It's just that sexual behavior, especially against a minor, is considered a bit more offensive and trying to portray a child as willing and wanting, yeah, that's just sick, legal or not.

i get that its the concept, but to that same vein it would be hypocritical to say all lolicons are pedophiles and then go play a violent video game or enjoy a cartoon like southpark to us in the modern day, animation has been a line that separates very clearly reality from fiction its fine to be uncomfortable about it, thats just your instincts, but to be judgemental is another thing entirely

I'm a very unjudgemental person so yea I say stuff like loli as it's just fiction. On the same level as hella violent video games and series. Does me liking stuff like that mean I'm a murderer? Of course not and most people would agree. I can understand why loli gets a more judged look but even then, there's fetishes for gore and such things as well.
