how do i convince my future wife to let me name my kid

I'm going try to name my son(If I get one) Lucis, it is one of the ways you can say Light in latin(Lux being another), I personally love the sound of it and the meaning hahaha.

Yeah really, that would really screw with the kid. Naming children isn't something to be taken lightly, it's not like naming your pet or something. It's gonna be with them their whole life probably, and there's a good change it'll be the result of bullying if you give them a weird one. Don't give your kid a dumb name just because you think it's funny, that's just horrible.

If your future wife is Japanese, I think it won't be a big problem. But if not... well, I hope your wife won't be stupid ^^; You can call your pets like this, but not children! But if you really want to name your kid like in anime, why not Sebastian? Maybe he will become a butler one day~ xD

neet-one i in no way find the names funny i am serious about those names and i will name my kid one of them. people bring up the issue of bullying trust me that wont be a problem a take martial arts and i plan on teaching my child it as soon as he can, i give him full permission to go all out on bullies

Maybe instead of forcing your kid to learn how to fight and defend themselves, you could avoid putting them into that position in the first place?
