Something totally random, but this is the only problem I have with anime. Not matter what the series is or if it's ongoing or not...ALL OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS DIE!!! I must have bad luck because it's so terribly true. Either my favorite character dies or they go crazy...with exception to those like Alucard. So...anyone else like this?

what anime are you watching? most of my favorite characters don't die. every once in a while one will but for the most part no. I suppose it depends of what type of anime you watching.

Maybe stop watching such violent anime and check out other stuff then? I'm more of a SoL kinda guy, and in those anime no one ever dies.

i like light novel addaptations mostly, few people die there, maybe only when the plot requires some tear jerking :D

Try Higurashi, at some point they all die, usually multiple times. That was probably the most fucked up anime ever. With Corpse Party you kind of expect it. With Higurashi it looks kind of like a slice of life type till "What the fuck!" shit happens.

It makes me angry when a show I like kills off a character I like, then later on brings back someone else who has died that I don't care about.
