I work as a compensation analyst at a HR consulting firm. I do lots of salary and job description analysis (lets you see salary planning and resumes/job descriptions in a very different light), with quite a bit of wizardry on Excel/Word/Access/Powerpoint. People are great and nice (office politics is a huge turnoff in my opinion) and the pay is reasonable. Although, in my niche field, no one likes to be told that their salary/bonus is cut and it's impossible to please everyone...so I learn to be a bit more..diplomatic about things.

During my college days got into contracting work as a programmer, realized I hated working for other people so dropped out and became a sole proprietor of my LLC. We've done mostly consulting work since then just to make ends meet, but we're getting some major projects planned. Taking huge risks, whether they work out or not, just love being in control of my life. Doing whatever the hell I want. Good times.

Still a university student, but I'm hoping to get a job in the game industry this summer. That's just MY dream though so, to each his own.

I`m still at university, studying Chemical Engineering (Bachelor, 1st year). Unfortunatelly, we don`t have many jobs here in Portugal. My job in Portugal is just s*it. I`ll have to emigrate, I still don`t know where. I hope to make a career at Forensic Chemistry, after taking a Master Degree. But for now, I`m just dreaming.

Working as a supervising chef as a popular seafood restaurant. I don't advise working in a kitchen as a career, but it's easy to get in and hard to get out. It's hard work for not the best pay. I am currently in school to become a Registered Dietitian. I'll probably go and get my Master's.

I manage the chemistry labs in a college. My responsibilities include preparing chemicals, maintaining an inventory, translating technical manuals into simpler instructions, ensuring lab safety, repairing equipment, supervising an assistant, and purchasing items.

I do research and development. So basically, I get paid to make something work, and/or, catch it on fire. Only had the fire department at work once though :D

Network Engineer. Digital telephony, electronic home security, network security and medical fields are exploding in growth in the tech sector. Learn a bit of programming, even if you don't use it often it can get you hired and make you a better tech. Military is a good way to go too.
