Recently bought the last three volumes of the series. Didn't want it to end T^T To those who've read the manga and watched the anime, which ending did you prefer? Or are you one of the rare few whose read the original novels? How did that end?

I watched the anime, havent really touched the manga....so whats up here? does it have a yaoi theme or what cause that was what i kept picking up O.O

I honestly can't tell you xD their relationship is so complex. The yaoi feels are a little bit more but it's nothing drastic. Shion also never "dies" in the manga. In the novels, his eyes are purple instead of red.
