Have any of you done Jury Duty yet? If so, how was it? I'm asking because I just got my summoning to go.

Nope, never been summoned. Wonder how it would be. Getting paid to sit there and judge someones life >:D

yeah once, I had to take a day off work and didn't have a car at the time so my mom also had to take a day off work to drive me there. my group got told we weren't needed after a few hours of waiting. Tryed calling up the numbers on the paperwork they sent me to explain the situation but got nothing but machines with automated messages which were of no help.

I get that letter every year. I call the night before, and they don't need me at all. Simple as that.

To get out of it just wear shorts. They'll just reschedule you and keep showing up in shorts doing that until your group number gets excused. It's a dress code thing and you'll be in and out in 15 minutes.
