What's wrong with me? :'(

I thought i had friends but they are jerks to me.. They are jerks until they need something... and me being me i help them because i like to help people. They like anime like me. They like games like me. They even like some of the same tv shows like me.. So why do they hate me? Im nice.. im kinda funny.. i feel like everyone turns on me when i need them :( should i just give up on people?

Anyone who treats you bad and uses you isnt a friend, what i suggest is you move on and find people who will appreciate your kindness and would be glad to be your friend *pats your back* good luck and i hope you can find happyness ^-^

For a more practical example, you're still on MO; and we are people not robot. If you're willing to come and talk to us then that mean you don't want to give up on people in the first place. You just haven't found the right people for you, so cheer up, Prince.

Nah you're just too soft. People of the nature similar to you're "friends" can be dealt with as follows: 1) keep them at arms length and mutually use them i.e. enjoy their company, have fun but don't go out of your way to please or console them when they don't get what they want. 2) don't deal with them all together... But remember this world is valued more on who you know than what you know so its a good idea to keep people as acquaintences and do what it takes to make you happy. Just be a kind and good person to all but be cautious of those willing to abuse that ^_^

There's nothing wrong with you for having asshole friends that try to take advantage of you. That just means there's something wrong with them. Ditch the jerks and find new friends. I used to have friends like that too, but they took advantage of me one too many times and I got sicked of it. You're better off without those kinds of people.

People feed off of niceness and may try to take advantage of your kindness. Be assertive and refuse do something for them unless they make up for their jerkiness. Or just find better friends.
