Hello mint. I read your profile and was intrigued on two counts. First: I'm also obsessed with technology and have been since I was very young. Particularly computers and anything audio/video related. I also have an interest in photography and cinematography so I follow related technology. Second: Your desires are not uncommon. There are several persons on here who wish to be a different gender than the one they were born including myself. In my case it's not as powerful as some in the sense that I consider myself to generally be a straight biological male. But mentally there's a strong feminine side to myself and if I had a choice, I would be a girl. I've cross-dressed a few times and loved it but I don't bother most of the time. As far as my sexuality goes, I consider myself straight as I'm attracted to feminine features but not masculine ones. Though I find some very feminine guys cute and some MtF like Baily Jay and such. Most people here are pretty open minded, so feel free to be yourself.
