Any interesting or enlightening sayings to share? One of my personal favourites are. "When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile."

But then you have to experience 1100 facial expressions... 100 of which suck... ^_^ How about: It is better to lose a minute of your life than your life in a minute... Words once spoken to me by an irrate father instructing me on the proper operation of an automobile...

I assume the snake is a metaphor for the imperfections in life and how some things cannot change despite how much you try.
