Lack of intelligence lately?

Trolling isn't just a thing anymore, it's a way of life on the internet. Either your a super smart troll... or you're one of those trolls people want to hadouken in the face.

I'm smart enough to know I can do dumb things. I can empathize to the point of hurting myself or misconstruing others. I don't think there's really a "smart". There's just us and our mutual world of faults and fine points.

Let me clarify, I don't mean intelligence as in purely smart, I'm also talking about the [lack of] maturity amd honesty in regards to certain topics, such as sex in relationships. There is also the apparent lack of common sense from the creators of some threads, the consistent "pity me" threads, and other threads that just make a persons brain melt because of sheer stupidity. Even the "Serious Talk" board is painful to read at times. I would link examples of all of these, but it would be disrespectful to single select people out. I'm not trying to sound like I'm better than anyone, but having a thread I, personally, can really get into has been lacking as of late. In the end, was the word intelligence the correct word to use here, probably not but it does narrow down what I'm trying to say without getting long winded.
