Who thinks this site needs an electronic magazine?

What would it talk about? I mean, I guess anime, but it can't be just that right? And who would produce it?

All the juicy gossip and the best threads? Plus I guess I can maybe pose for a maiotaku calendar *strips*

That actually sounds like a cool idea, the site members can probably pitch in on that. It could have various sections. Like previously said, anime news, manga news, forum news, game news, etc. Sounds pretty fun.

Really, you just need members that want to work on it regularly.

This would not go over very effectively though. I mean out of all the anime magazines out there how many come from a social network. First off you have production cost to print this unless we are selling this then its going to be rather expensive for the owner or any volunteer to do this. Next up is why would somebody buy this on a mass scale. I mean the only difference we would have from other magazines is that we forum updates and such. As for all the anime gaming updates that's done easily online or through a much more reliable company dedicated to bringing you news. There's other things to consider but you get my point. Not trying to ruin the idea just putting the problems out that are likely going to be the case.

And yu, he's talking about an email being sent out (if reading it correctly), talking about latest trends in anime, blah blah blah.. made by a member, for members. Not an actual publication.

Even thats overdoing it though, But yeah my mistake, skimmed over it while I was on a break at work. Still I though even with a email feature we would need proper volunteers and whatnot for it to be effective to actually know all the good updates for anime and games which in itself is a bit much for a volunteer to do. As for forum updates I kind of think that one might just be a bit waste of time. Since there are not alot of forum users as it is. The ones who do get on already know whats going on and such. Just my take on it.
