Yoko were you asking about site specific expectations? For me, it doesn't really make sense to be on the site for dating. I think we are all too spread out geographically and ldr is, in my opinion, a huge trial of trust and communication. I am looking to have some fun and meet new people/establish friendships with those who share interests with my inner otaku, or whatever! I mostly want to nerd out with anyone that has an interest in anime, cause my friends think adult swim is the only anime network and they think it's lame in general ;_; You won't see me initiating an emo ragequit attention-seeking thread (it seems to be the theme in a lot of posts here). Also looking to intimidate with my avatar. Main priority. Should have mentioned that first...

for me its mainly like minded ppl to talk to. Not a lot of anime fans in my area and i work all the time so i have alot of nights with nothing to do and nobody to nerd out with. tell ppl i like anime here and they all give me that wtf look. i have no expectations of finding my next gf on here, ive been single a while so i dont even know if i can handle having a gf. plus as awesome as having a otaku gf would be, theres more important things than that plus obviousman is right about how how spread out everyone is. the few good friends ive made here so far are way too far to hang out with

I'll be honest, I'm here because I have curiosity about this kind of websites. I love anime, manga and videogames, so it will be awesome if I can know some people with the same interests. I know that I'm not going to meet with the girl of my dreams here, and probably I'm not going to find a girlfriend. But I don't lose hope to have the slightest chance of finding although it would be only a friend. It may sound a bit cold but basically I'm here to learn and examine the behavior of the people, and have some fun if I find someone to have a nice conversation.

Obviousman, no, not exactly. I said "in general", there will be people who are honest in their intentions, but there will also be liars in order to look good.

You are incinuating that any guy who does not explicitly state that they are looking for a fuck buddy is a liar, while those who do indicate their intentions as such are the honest ones.

I am not insinuating anything. I said exactly as I just posted in the earlier post. I am saying people, in general, are liars, especially when it comes to intentions such like this, whether it be here or another dating site. If you don't believe there are many people who would lie to a woman just to get in her pants/get her to send nude pictures, then youre being delusional.

I am referencing the first post you made in this thread. Anyway, it seems like you are projecting your own perversions onto others. ;)
