School Days

Just got done watching it and I am still in shock about it. Not in a bad way per say but it definitely is something that I will never forget. I mean it did make an impact on the genre that it was trying to change. It took the romantic drama/harem genre and turned it on its head to give us something memorable. May it be for bad or good. Hence why I am wondering if anyone else feels the same about it. Or has a different opinion. I would love to hear it.

It actually not that bad. It is emotionally scarring. And I have to give it credit for actually making me give a damn about these main characters. Thats how you know you have a good anime. It brings out a emotion in you. Whether its bad or good. Some of the best animes do that. Also nice to meet you Naito-kun :)

School Days is probably the most realistic anime I've ever seen particularly for how the male lead acts. I'm sorry but most guys will bang any and every hot jailbait schoolgirl that jumps on them and wont be turning them all down like they do in most anime (unless they are gay). I would only call it emotionally scarring if you are only used to happy go lucky G-PG rated everyday type anime. I watch the darkest craziest stuff I can find full of gore, incest and other stuff so I'm too jaded to scar or shock. Lots of anime will still make me cry though if its really sad but not so much from School Days. It was ok but didn't really touch me emotionally.

grisaia is about a guy transfering into a school with like only 6 students all female and im guessing they are trying to kill him not sure but it looks like a harem at first
