Alright y'all time to take this project to the next level. Here we have a place where you can read the compiled information we have so far, and post your character bios for the manga. Remember, this is not final, everything right now is in somewhat of an alpha stage. We need more character bios to move onto the beta stage, so please even if you don't want to contribute in other ways the point is to get as many members from this site as possible to at least be characters they created themselves (or you can give us creative rights and we'll create you a character!) Manga name: Heavens Fall Online (or H.F.O.) Type of Manga: Action, Adventure, Game (mmo), Fantasy Setting: Slightly into the future of our own world timeline, where virtual reality gaming is common place and a wide variety of people participate in. Science has advanced quite a bit further and many people have begun losing faith in their religions and turning to science for answers instead. Currently there is a system called W.O.R.L.D. utilizing an advanced A.I. to run facilities across the world to regulate everything from ocean currents to air quality. Main Plot: Currently one of the biggest vmmo's out right now is called Heavens Fall Online, which centers around a future/fantasy alternate reality of the world in which Heaven and Hell have declared war on the sentient species of Earth for their hubris and continued neglect for the gods. So far the game is relatively new only having their launch debut event take place (which was fighting off Hells vanguard army and first general) There is another event set to take place soon...however when the event launches reality, and virtual reality start to mix and the characters start to awaken to their vmmo personas in reality. Little do the characters know that W.O.R.L.D. itself created the game and is causing these disturbances, it's up to the characters to figure out why W.O.R.L.D. is declaring war against the gods and which side is the right one to choose. Sub Plot: There are several factions vying for control of Earth and the spoils of war with the gods. When reality starts mixing with virtual reality it's easy to see that the same issues will arise. The main two factions at war being the Holy Crusaders and the Deicide Legion. The Holy Crusaders being led by an insane and crazed individual, the Deicide Legion being led by a council of each of the races champions. Races: { Human: Generally adept at everything, it's only drawback being it not being specialized for any class. Special ability: Honestly no clue...maybe something like vigilance (extra defense+health and knock-back/down immune) Elf: Slightly magically endowed species that can also function as other more tanky roles but not typically known for the class. Special ability: Maybe something like skyrim where they get a larger mana pool, maybe some more health too and a little more mana regen Beastman: Strong and most agile species, though not very magically inclined, still capable magicians but not known for the class. Special ability: Something like more health faster attack speed and more health regen Cyborg: Tankiest and agile race with almost no affinity for magic, that's not to say that can't become highly specialized magic cross classes...but more likely selected for a tank or dps class. Special ability: extra defense and magic defense and knock-back/down immune Fallen: Most magically inclined race though also the weakest physically can still become highly specialized cross classes like paladins effectively. Special ability: more mana and mana regen and maybe quicker attack speed(could function for cast time as well) } Classes: An open class system where players progress in a manner similar to Skyrim, however there are more schools of magic and weapon styles. Current schools of magic: Elemental, Summoning, Holy (basically restoration and buffs), Gravity, Blood, Dark (basically debuffs and such) Current weapons: rifle, dual pistol, dual wield (swords, axes, blunt weapons, etc.), two handed (sword, axe, hammers, etc.), Shield & Sword (or lance) Factions: Cynic Saints (Only for themselves), Holy Crusaders (Supporting the Gods), Deicide Legion (Against the Gods), (sub factions for each race) For reference here's my character bio (subject to change depending on what all happens here): Name: Karasu (why not lol) Race: Fallen Faction: Cynic Saints Weapon(s): Dual rare pistols called Yin and Yang (their rare attributes being health steal and magic steal respectively) Armor: Wears light armor, focusing more on speed than defense. (pretty much modeled after a drawing I have on here) Abilities(Magics): Highly focused, utilizing only a small pool of spells, mainly sustainable spells. Explosive magic (advanced fire magic), gravity magic, and defensive holy magic being the priorities. Utilizes two different sustainable enchantments for his weapons, one firing micro explosive bullets, the other micro black hole bullets. Uses a few other sustainable defensive spells that synergize well to help avoid attacks and absorb some damage of attacks that do hit. Drawbacks of the build are it's small mana pool due to utilizing so many sustainable spells. Bio: Part of the Cynic Saints, albeit loosely affiliated with the higher ups of the Deicide Legion. Often gone for long periods of time solo farming dungeons and such, often jumping in to help adventurers in need. Even though his playstyle is solo, he is often called upon by the Deicide Legions higher ups to participate in clearing new content. Is often oblivious of new events going in the game, and generally clumsy often getting himself into dangerous situations or setting off traps accidentally. im adding on if i may out of all the factions only 7 rose to the top killing dozens of angels natural born killers who seemed to have a passion for it skilled in heaven warfare showing no mercy towards the gods or their minions they stared straight into their faces with fire burning in their eyes letting them know they werent going to stand there and die so the leader of the heavens devised a plan to side with the demons for the moment and take down the humans in return they will be allowed to keep earth for themselves so the devil himself gathered 7 of his best fighter souls damned for an eternity for their viscious and cruel acts during the heaven wars which resulted in them being casted out of heaven and into hell not sure if its good but its all i got for the moment

we can use that for the beginning have the meeting of devil and the leader of heaven joining sides then go straight to life on earth...in a small village affected by the war being a resting place for soldiers of the war who live in the villagers houses and take their things then the 7 demon generals come down and wipe out all the villagers except for a kid (that can be the protagonist) who they purposely left alive in hopes they meet again with his hatred towards them growing inside him he joins the heaven fall resistance and starts out as a worthless soldier who gets in the way and causes comrades to die then he meets a woman from the 7 great angel slayers who takes him under her wing

Name: Kent Clark Race: Human Faction: deicide legion. Weapon: a large blessed sword from the gods called lancealot, it is one of the few relics that can hurt gods (if you have a better name let me know) Magic: My magic boost my physical attributes, for example it boost stamina, healing, dexterity and strength. (I guess this would be considered blood magic?) Armor: Blessed scarlet and gold armor. Medium to large sized and appears heavy but is light as a feather to kent. When he activated his armor it turns jet black and he gets a major boost in magical defense, gets offensive magic capabilities and a speed boost at the cost of health. Abilities: Natural leadership, strong will, and outstanding combat capabilities. Easy for him to command the lower troops, weaker beastmen are almost hypnotized by him. Bio: After living a life of having everything he loved ripped away from him, he had a strong distain for the gods and wondered why they would allow such injustice. So he took it upon himself to be the justice that was needed I'm this world. He can be slightly arrogant by not wanting to fight lower people, but he is really doing it for their safety. He is highly disiplined, but cannot obey unjust orders. He would gladly face the charge of insubordination if he had to slaughter unarmed people that had no malicous intent. Seeing how evil the gods have become and seeing first hand the misery they cause, he takes it as his personal mission to cleanse the world of them.
