Childhood Dreams of the Future.

I always was quick to change my pursuits as a child. But one thing usually sticked the reach of those goals. The most prevalent one had to be my want to be famous but not in the typical light of fame but for doing something beneficial for people since most of my dreams comprised of this in some thought. Those dreams were blessed with curiosity and ambition but lacked realism or a skeptical view point to meet the ends of said matters. Thats what got me thinking what are dreams and goals really to us especially childhood ones as mentioned in this thread? Sure there are people out there that attain there dreams and yes you can say that those who did not did not have the talent or ability or tried hard enough to obtain them. However is it really so?

My childhood dreams were a little strange for a kid. At first I wanted to be a Superhero the a detective and the believe it or not a hostage negotiator. But then I rented a movie from the library in Bellport NY called Akira. My mind was blown and from then on I wanted to.be an animator/ manga artist.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a horse and if I couldn't be I wanted to be a show jumper. LOL Kids eh? When I was a teen I wanted to be an artist, that never really happened either, I just draw for fun.
