So, if we're going to be getting serious about this how about we further define the universe before we start on characters? Like, if we're settling on a virtual mmo type verse, what kind of lore are we going to have? Culture? Races? Jobs? Classes? I would personally vote for a future/fantasy mash up, maybe limit to 3-5 different factions. I'm sure we can all agree that the standard classes would be there but what about non standard classes like ninja or summoner? How about an open class system, where you can allocate points to wherever you want making unique classes and abilities to match. Like say someone splits their points between archery and elemental magic effectively becoming a hunter mage able to fire magic arrows? (just an example) And for races I'm sure we could barrow heavily from ffxi/xiv

Karasu is right, it needs order. How about demon, human, angel, fallen angel? Or should it be more like human, elves (high elves and dark elves), machine like humans, and animal people (like cat ears and a tail an example being a wolf man).
