Owning a car or not?

Man, if any chick asked me if I owned or had a car as a topic of discussion I usually just say I fly around on my magical carpet granting wishes to people I find interesting. Or just deflecting it altogether, gurl I don't know you(yet) maybe if we meet again I'll talk about what I have and don't have(maybe).

Well I suppose it depends on where you are. Cars are a much bigger deal in terms of transportation in the states but like in Asia, for example, where the majority of people either depend on public transit, bikes or like mopeds it's not as expected that you'd have a car

Well I honestly prefer the scooter myself although the better brands that are two seaters and what not. I understand the implications of choosing a scooter over a car of course such as in a emergency or when I need to haul something bigger or perhaps take somebody somewhere its a bit more difficult however thats just what I prefer. Saves me more money in the long run as long as you get a decent brand. Gas is relatively cheap in fact very cheap. The only downside is the parts for repairing them if you go for something like a vespa you can bet that you will be spending some money on repairs for that. Otherwise though I prefer a scooter over a car. Now who here actually takes a segway to work anybody? Dead silence .... as nobody answers.
