Owning a car or not?

It's all about location. Say I live in an urban town where most people walk to work, then fine, not having a car is okay. But where you're living is a place in which you'll have to do a lot of commuting, or your boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't live down the road, then I believe you need a car of your own. It's reliable transportation, buses and other public forms of getting along aren't always gonna be there when you need them. She's not a gold digger. She's a thinker.

I agree with everyone on the usefulness of a car in life, and another way to look at it is that some people might look at a car as an indicator that you have a reliable source of income since you do have to pay for gas, insurance, upkeep and whatnot. Because I don't want to be, for lack of a better word, a sugar mama to someone who can't even get their shit together to afford to maintain a regular car. You don't exactly have to be a billionaire for that.

Are you saying that the money someone has is more important than the person? Cause it sounds like someone who wants a big papa and not a special someone!

No, I don't think that the money that someone has is more important than the person but I believe in an equal relationship. I want a partner as a significant other, not a dependent.

If you have some other indicators demonstrating your independence then I don't think you have anything to worry about maukun. In general, personality is definitely a necessity, however you can't solely depend on being an awesome person you gotta be a responsible person too! In regard to your friend who will only strictly date guys with cars... She sounds shallow and it's her loss if you have a lot to offer and she brushes you off for a simple material reason such as holding the title to a vehicle.

honestly I don't really think that matters; though I like the idea of the other person being able to only because for certain reasons I can't. but honestly I'm not much of a car fan I mean I don't really have an attraction to cars mostly because I'm a country girl who loves nature and prefers to walk hating the smell cars produce. but as I said previously I sadly can't drive so it'd be difficult if they were far away.

Pretty much the only reason I need a car is so I can hangout with my friends more often! I literally live like right down the road from where I work! X3

i dont mind picking up my date because im used to driving everywhere. its not a deal breaker but it does show some level of responsibility to maintain one. (i guess im just used to Southern California where it is an absolute must unless you love inner city or close to work)
