I wouldn't say I love computers. I work in IT as a contractor however and have built many custom computers. I have a degree in networking with emphasis on Information Assurance and know a thing or two about configuring commercial networks that run Cisco systems...except Cisco firewalls. Those things still escape me because they're a right pain to configure. I don't know or do much on the software side, I generally stick around hardware, networking, and security. As for stuff I actually enjoy that's computer related...honestly, outside of gaming, audio recording and production, and video production and editing, there isn't a whole lot I like about technology as a whole.

Hahahaha. Ah sorry. I want to upload a new version of my simple game soon into market. I'm loosing a bit of time here. I was suffering from retard-effect from second-life break-up a bit. And suffered bad with weather here. hopefully I will get hang in my work again soon. Just to say. I'm (chinamini owner) deadly serious about software development, and 3D grafics design. Sorry chinamini. I'm using your avatar to talk about myself.

Yeah. actually I did one. But I got a problem. I did on C# XNA that was abbandoned in the year I published my game. Now they are creating win2D but I have base knowledge to run into DirectX. Is unfortunate that C# is becoming a obsolete language for games, as the Unity Engine Jit compiler have almost the same speed as the C++ Language. That is a huge disadvantage for who became "proficient in C# for nothing", as my focus is mainly doing games. Simple games, but even 3D racing or even 3D mario like games, I have knoledge to do. My problem is energy and mind-set. I have my BIG problems to deal with my body that give me very few time to work efficiently each day. I'm taking Puran T4 (underactive thyroid medicine), but yet... When I published this game, C#/XNA was abbandoned by "Windows Facist times" that they did the "Forced windows 8" over programmers and their clients, MarketPlace was a disaster, no one really take time on Start Menu on desktop cmputers, and here in Brasil Windows phone 7 Marketplace (my choosen one platafform that supports XNA/C# Games) never got published in my own country. And USA had too much concurrency. But my energy got in check, I was just playing on Second Life, trying to fix the hole in my soul. Windows Phone Marketplace here on brasil only for Windows 8 and above. Now I will try port this game and finally do also in android. I have everthing set, I lost my precious chance, with weather changing into heat (my nightmare is heat) I was facing my (fisical) depression, I will do my best to port my game in unity. My game is fun. I played for 6 months, and a couple hundred of clients, my game was free with advertisement. Let me keep secret about this for a while. I like to walk on streets anonymous and carefree. I'm Very shy and I like to be alone. So sorry for not being my real face. But you know. Chinamini love was too intense and when she broke with his lover in the middle of this year in Second Life, I got a hard to deal painfull memmoryes from time to time. Well that is why I'm here on MaiOtaku. I maybe loose or win this battle. I'm just alive!

Well looking above I fit better in writing novels. lol Key17: Doing a game is the first step of many. Is great portfolio. Just that. You need dedication, so much for lonewolf like me, or a very good leader and large group. Published your game? Well done. But this doesn't mean success. What will differ you from a casual developer is dedication from here. Publish a game is not the end. Is just the begin. Be sure to be organized. you will have to re-write it again. That is why I build up my own classes in Object Oriented Language, but don't care so much about this, to don't get stuck in the process. You need a good plan. You need a relatory. You need get alone. I did it.

Yeah. If you're technically inclined and use those skills commercially eventually you become much less EXCITE about computers. You simply know how to fix them and get the right stuff. I make games for classic video game systems as a hobby. In particular the Atari 2600.
