Im trying to start reading manga! anyone have any suggestions for me to read? Preferably a manga that has yet to have an anime adaptation.

Rurouni kenshin. The original manga series. Death note is also good if youre okay with some heavy text.

Thanks but I meant a series that doesn't have an anime, cuz I've seen most of em like death note and kenshin.

Ah. That is tough. Brave story, but thats from the novel... hm. Tokyopop has a lot of manga that was never made into anime.

I have a ton if you;re every curious, although I suppose it depends on what kind of genre you enjoy. Ignoring the obvious popular series (Naruto, Death Note, Kenshin, Attack on Titan) there are a couple more out there. Horror: Another is super good, as well as Higarashi and Petshop of Horrors, Nightmare Inspector Romance: Lovely Complex, Ottomen, Tsubasa Chronicles Supernatural: Book of Friends is lovely. After School Nightmare (horror ish), xXxHolic Action: Saiyuki, Get Backers, Samurai Deeper Kyo Slice of Life: Hana Kimi (also romance), Seiho Boys High School Fantasy: Pick of the Litter, Arata, Recipe for Gertrude, Dawn of the Arcana There are tons of amazing ones. ^^

Get backers is a good series, but I couldve sworn there is an anime for it.
