Dating Site Advice

Well I think it would be nice to have a conversation first to get to know the person and make some awesome friends on this site so when you do conventions you could meet up and do things together nobody likes doing things alone. Plus their might be a chance that somebody is willing to go out with you on this site you never know until you try, but for now I think friends would be good enough for me atleast I have people to talk too XD.

Exactly. Are friends really such a bad thing? If you want nothing more than a date from here, good luck. People here are generally nice enough to talk to though. I used to use this site to try and increase my chances at romance, but I'm taken. There are plenty here who just want a friend and that's not a bad thing either way.

Relationships may not last, but friendships are incredibly strong bonds to be formed and I think are just as valuable and important. Without friends who will be there for when you're going insane over a break up?

Agreed with toe, friends and relationships are both important in any persons life. Regardless of if they consider themselves antisocial or not they cant stop those chemicals that make them want friends connections to create the results they wish for. I think both play a vital role in a person. Relationships, these are the most intimate and personal ones you can have. These are our highpoints when it comes to social interaction, but also our lowpoints as well if the relationship goes bad. They also provide companionship as well that can be more constant then a friendship. To name a few things. Friendships, Now with friendships they are usually more reliable in terms of staying together if you are really friends with each other. The key with friendship is moderation though in terms of its long term sustainability, whereas with relationships you are far more connected and much easier to do something that might destroy the bond. Not to say that friends cannot be just as connected in a different way though. They will provide the bulk of our entertainment when it comes to social interaction. To name some. In regards to dating on this site, its much better to become friends first and get to know that person properly. Dont expect a relationship out of somebody when you talk to them either, instead expect only if anything the knowledge of getting to know that person forming a bond whatever that may be. Not only do you form other bonds besides relationships this way you increase the chances of the very thing you want by having more social connections naturally other people will be drawn to you somewhat. Is it not better to open yourself to searching for friends and relationships instead of just limiting yourself to one over the other.
