Assuming the other person didn't have a gun or long weapon themselves, I'd probably go with a knife or a rope. There's an intimacy with close range weapons that allows you to see the true beauty of death. You can see the terror, the sadness, all the memories and regrets running through their head, and the pain in your opponent as they try to cling to life from inside their personal bubble.
