Yes, I do indeed like Yuri. For me it's more of the emotional adventure that the pair takes to arrive at their true feelings for each other, and all of the cute little quirks and reactions that they usually end up showing each other in the process. Not to say that I don't like the more: "Right to the point and love to have sex" type of show, I just prefer the fluffy or Shoujo-Ai type more. As far as my favorite "Yuri" show, that would probably have to be Shoujo-Sect, although it only comes slightly ahead of the Sono Hanabira Ni Kuchizuke Wo OVA. Favorite pairings for said shows are Shinobu Handa/Momoko Naitou and Mai Sawaguchi/Reo Kawamura respectively. My favorite Shoujo-Ai show would have to be the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series. Specifically the StrikerS & Vivid seasons. They don't actually say that they are a couple, (I believe it may have been confirmed in one of the drama CD's, but I could be wrong). They're all flustered and blushy around each other, sleep in a giant bed, and even adopt a child together, who ends up calling them both mama. Favorite pairings for this series are Nanoha Takamachi/Fate Testarossa & Vivio Takamachi/Einhart Stratos. Basic rundown (In no particular order) of my favorite pairings from other shows are: Cardcaptor Sakura: Sakura Kinomoto/Tomoyo Daidouji. Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Madoka Kaname/Houmura Akemi. Sakura Trick: Haruka Takayama/Yuu Sonoda. Mai-Hime: Shizuru Fujino/Natsuki Kuga. Mai-Otome: Arika Yumemiya/Nina Wong. Candy Boy: Kanade Sakurai/Yukino Sakurai. Negima!?: Konoka Konoe/Setsuna Sakurazaki.

Yuri is great! Sure it's awesome in THAT way but I think it's great that anime studios and mangakas are so open to yuri and yaoi - from the perspective of a straight guy, it is refreshing to see same sex love being displayed so vividly and it always delivers a pretty powerful underlying about sexuality that whether you're straight, bi, gay, pansexual, etc, you are still a normal wonderful human being! Using yuri or yaoi as the example of that is a good way to go about things o/ Maybe I am reading too much into it but that's the idea I get XD Back to the main topic! I love yuri - well I think the answer is obvious here, I like girls XD But also because I tend to find the relationship between two girls to be really damn cute and sweet! I don't have any particular favourite yuri anime or manga in general or any favourite pairings as a matter of fact but the whole yuri complex is something I find good enough on its own. So yay yuri :D

I don't mind yuri, and some manga's have a good story where the yuri subject doesn't even fall as that important.

Yuri is good but a 3some is better. (Or if you have 3 waifus a 4some :3) As to why I like it? I dunno, I guess because it can show more passon than guys normally would give out. Or just simply because it is... Forbidden love... I don't do yaoi/BL obviously...

I appreciate yuri(and love yaoi) since it's LGBT, but I can't really get into it due to excessive male-gaze fanservice that ends up objectifying the girls. I understand that it's mostly for guys, but why can't there be lesbian manga made for girls, like how there are gay manga made for men?... >.< Maybe it's because I just like masculine/boyish women. I thought it was well-done in the Shinsekai Yori anime though, but the manga adaptation was just mortifying for me. Honestly feel like I can only stand some shoujo-ai/yuri if it's not like hentai/moe. I've tried reading several yuri, and only enjoyed one... which was a Sailor Moon yuri doujin by a mangaka that normally does yaoi. It was nice and realistic, rather than like hentai(and it did have a sex scene). Kind of wonder if there's more realistic yuri with tomboys(girls that look like boys). Is it a different genre, or does it not exist?
