Animes you had to abandon & why ??

mainly because one piece is the kind of series that you just had to be there during the beginning for. ive read it when it first came to america and then started watching the 4kids version and havent been able to get back into it ever since.

i know what u mean about Hell Girl @Ridingcatbus For me though, Pokemon. The guy has been a pokemon training for the past 10+ years and only seemed to get younger also, Magical DoReMi. Comes from Ojamajo Doremi. 4kids took the story out of the show and ran it into the ground. it was a really good series in terms of story. 4kids ruins al they touch.

this is my very first time ever abandoned any anime and it was higurashi no naku koro ni it was way to much blood and gore i'm not easily scared either i had nightmares and went two days without sleep i'll never watch a horror anime again

Bleach, because it drags on way too long. The biggest problem is the story is crap, and the only thing Bleach does ok with is the fight scenes. But other than that it didn't have enough pull to hold onto me.

@Haku Yowane, I agree with your premises of Higurashi. I too suffered from bouts of fear after watching it, although I myself watched till the end. Please don't take that as a comment against you, I feel everyone has a right to like and dislike what they please. The one anime I dropped was "Boys Over Flowers". At first I felt the story touching and quite romantic, it was at about the half-way point that I dropped the series. I felt that it had begun to loop or to put it better I felt it had circled back to beginning and was merely re-telling the story with minor changes and no further character development.

bwah i loved Blood+ :D i guess the begging before we meet Diva is about dry XP (is that a spoiler O_O srry >.<*covers my head*) hmm think BRS the anime XP i love love loved the OVA so much >.< but i coodnt even get threw the first ep of the anime -_- all my friends agree they coodnt get threw it >.< but! i will give it one more try >.> another anime i abandoned was Eureka Seven AO >.< meh watched two eps and coodnt >.< Hyouka too, was very slow and no real gripping plot i guess....hmmm findin it hard to keep rewatchin Code Geass XP as for mangas id say Ressurection Princess :P (good manga just feels like i wasted money buyin it)

oh :D! and! Guuren Laggan! i coodnt take it after Simon goes to jail >.< it just sucked after that (KAMINA NEVER SOOD HAVE DIED!) the grown up part just im srry but sucked to me =.= meh before that amazing anime :D

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - couldn't take how random haruhi was. i mean she was pretty funny but she over does it lucky star- couldn't take the fact that it was a boring school life anime. i usually like a bit of romance in my school live animes, but when i looked it up, no romance spice and wolf- i just never got into the anime. casshern sin- same as spice and wolf chrono crusade- same as casshern sin eyeshield 21- i dropped it cause i forgot which episode i was on

One piece as well, watched it until about episode 10 and was so bored I found myself waking up to the ending credits. Naruto i did give up on to. Though I did like it initially to watch a ton more episodes when it first starting airing in the US. But you can only watch so many kids go into battle and not have one child horrible ripped to pieces or killed. Meh... more death for kids = i'd watch and since it didn't happen soon enough *click* went my tv. Ninja's were a lot deadlier back in the 1970's.
